Guys were talking about combination guns for calling some time ago. Was out to camp and picked up 31/2" 4 buck (WW) @ Lion Country Supply. They had a .222/20 w/scope for $350. FYI

It was a Savage 24 and I assume that they made it until I find out otherwise. Dick

I have a savage 24v .222/20.... Overall a nice gun, you just need to remember that the shotgun barrel generally hits lower than the rifle. Great gun for fall turkey also

Yotekid....you are correct on the impact of the shotgun compared to the rifle...mine is 223 over 12 guage and it is a great gun for critters. That 3" #4 Buck out of the bottom is great for mid to close-ups and the 223 with a 40 Gr HP is a reacher...have not played with the 222/20 combo.
