I have not been keeping track how many have signed up. The entrance fee and registration goes to Brent. But a few weeks back when I said the event was going to cut off at 25 entries. I think Brent said there were 9 paid and 3 said they were sending in entrance papers. Since then I joined and know of one other for sure that joined because he sent me a letter saying hi. I have received some phone calls since then and would think Brent has also. I have scheduled time for 25 callers. If you are thinking of getting in I would just get in and do your best. It really does not matter how many are in. You are a good caller; just do your best and you might win.

Thanks for the info.  You are right, on a personnal level, it doesn't matter how many callers their are.  As a business person I was curious to hear if participation was up or just towing the line.  Honestly, I am interested in participating but $200 plus hotel, gas and food is a lot of money and I'm not sure I can swing any of it.  Good luck with the event........Tim

i'm ALL for having a booth there.  Cool

but, if we are to hold a booth i suggest (and will even design & build) a great display booth for the PPHA. somthing besides our rinky-dink banner and two folding chairs. maybe a tri-fold cloth covered background with pictures & info on what the PPHA has accomplished in the last 8yrs, tv monitor with slide show & video's and than some....

if we're gonna do it....let's do it up right! give ourselves a more proffesional appearance.

whad'ya say?

Made it Sunday...booth looked GREAT! It had as described "rinky-dink banner and two folding chairs". Took me the afternoon Satuday, just to figure it was only 5 hours away. Reading this topic.

I think the booth looked great!!
Furs, mounts, photo book, signs stating what the membership gets you, and a sign telling what the PPHA did for the PA predator hunter
in recent years,
All this on a 7x7 telescopic background display.
Camo table cloth on the table and the chairs were mine and L4F's

A big thanks should go out to Tim for supplying 95% of these things

Furbug, That was the best display the PPHA ever had.  We had everything you talked about except the tv and video.  They wanted another $75 bucks for electric.  Were not working off a huge budget here.  I think its a great idea for you to build a display.  If you have the time and money and can make it easy to put up and tear down.  Go for it.  I will use it for sure.
