Snake hunt in water

I was looking at videos on YouTube tonight and fond this snake hunt. I think they are catching cotton mouth snakes. This method seamed a little scary for catching cotton a mouth snakes if that is what they were.

That "turtle man" is some kind of a nut. Not sure what variety but a nut is a nut. Amazing he has any fingers left after being bitten 35 times by the big old snapper.
