Good Homemade Decoy
« on: December 23, 2007, 10:44:44 PM »
Merry Christmas yins. Check it out. Check out a product called "Kitty Go Krazy" They sell it at PetSmart, and online for around 25 bucks. Anybody with an ounce of ingenuity could easily make a decoy very similar to the Fox-Pro decoy out of this toy. I just saw one given as a gift, and the motor that operates the cat toy has the SAME erratic motion as the predator decoys Ive seen. You would only have to camo tape it(its purple), and fix a small stuffed animal or squirrel tail to the end. Its no louder than my Foxpro decoy. It has a wide base that would stand up even in high grass. I might just add a little weight to the bottom which would be easy to do, as there is space inside for a ball to roll around in. It is worth the look if you don't want to drop a hundred on a "real-deal" decoy.
If anybody tries it, let me know how it works for ya. Also whats up with the warning I get every-time I try to log on the PPHA site. Where'd that come from?[/url]

There is one they call the "Panic Mouse 360" that looks to be a little smaller at the base.
