Several years ago I bought a few pieces of leather at a yard sale. It was not top quality and not finished, but thought I could use it sometime.
I checked youtube on how-to-make-axe sheath and pattern after that.
The leather wasn't finished so I rubbed in Neatsfoot Oil to soften and preserve.
Here's my two camp axes with new sheath...

Goose, I made Venison Jerky, 2 Axe Sheaths, went to lunch with our children, called Coyote, made some chain/cable stakes for trapping plus cut a couple trees down this past week.
Upcoming week... go to fur sale, burn brush, stack logs, ice fishing and calling.
Am spending too much time on thishere computer.
Am too busy to hold down a full time job.
