Title: Outdoor Show in South Renovo
Post by: Hern on September 02, 2014, 05:49:12 PM
I didn't attend this show or hear much about it.
Can someone give an update/review?
Any thing 'new' on the market?
How many vendors?
Did the PPHA have a booth?
How was the attendance?
Let's hear the low down...

Hern,

I was trying to get up myself, but got held over at work and couldn't make it either.  I'm curious myself how things went.

Bee's, once again put on a great show. It's not a huge event but it had a pretty good turn out considering the weather. To my understanding the money raised from the 50 plus raffle items was more than last years show and the fire company was thoroughly pleased to say the least. I missed Kirks show last year but didn't this year. Kirk was very informative and I believe everyone walked away with a wealth of knowledge! We as a club did not have a booth there, when I brought up the subject months ago it fell on deaf ears. We will have one at next years show for sure!
It's a show that if you can make it, I would encourage you to do so. You can find a little of everything there.

P. S. The wife loved her basket of candles that I was lucky enough to win for her.

Bowman, good getting a chance to hang out a little more with you...............it's not the hugest show on earth but it's a whole lot of fun.............a little bit of everything there and like you said the prize raffles alone are worth the trip............Hope to see the PPHA make a return next year and AS ALWAYS there's a spot reserved for the club
