Title: Varmint designated bullets vs deer type bullets
Post by: uncle buck on December 10, 2013, 12:26:14 AM
Fragment....yep that the only safe way to go when you hunt predators... Use a round that fragments...

ever notice a  22 LR or  22 WMR you could hear that ZING every now and then when you use lead core non HP.... you know what that means...

All of this also governed where you hunt and the back stop too...heard once how great the  .224 60 grain Nosler Partition worked on coyotes..

I'm a huge fan of the 36 grain varmint grenades by Barnes for my .223.
