Be Safe and Remember...

  Memorial Day is much more than a three-day weekend and a day to mark the beginning of the summer season.  Formerly known as Decoration Day, it originated after the Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died in the war by decorating their gravesites.  Memorial Day is now a day to honor all Americans who have died in all wars.

Goose;  Thank you.  I knew the history but we all need to be reminded about our fallen brothers.  All too many don't care anymore.  Dick
