Thanks for having me. I hunt often but, rarely have time for contests due to my work schedule being a conflict on weekend checkins. I did manage to make 12 sets on the first day of the hunt and had 11 come in so it was very action packed and exciting. I wish I could have hunted day two they seemed to be responding quite well. It was great to meet the guys at the district 4 check in and is always nice to see Tim Deckard who is a great guy and awesome caller. Congrats to Cliff. I think I met him at the PPHA Expo. If its who I think he is both him and his partner were good people. Foxtrot thanks for the offer. I am quite sure you could get me up and running with the monopod system.

Sorry, I forgot to take picures. As for calls, I like the verminator calls, and started to use the backstabber and critter call. Had a fun weekend, although the fox were a little spooky. Seen a few more than we shot, had a few misses. As for the lights ... my friend and I had converted some of our own. I'll have to post some pictures of the lights sometime.

I've been hearing a ton about these verminator calls. Which is the best one and are they just bird sounds? tweety, syco tweety?
-
I use the Tweety red and yellow model calls to make rabbit in destress sounds. These are splt and double reed calls. Very hard to use in cold weather because they tend to freeze up. I have called quite a few animals in with this call in Pa. ( It's not a loud call but has a very high pitch.) I think there about $14.00 each.

I like tweety and syco, like the high pitch sounds you can get them at cabelas.

a bolt
I collect some calls when I think they have made a mark in the calling world.
I was hunting with Rick Paillet a few years back when he was making Bow Mania video, He was the first person I ever heard make a bobcat growl with his call. It sounded good enough that I had him tune me one of his calls so I could make that sound and add it to my collection of calls.
His calls are some of the most versatile open reeds calls you can get. He makes them calls really sing and makes sounds that are distinctive only to his calls. You can not go wrong with his calls that is for sure.
