Who left you in the hunt? I'm calling foul. Your probably going to hunt on all my grounds. ;D ;D
-
I wish this would have been when I was down in Bucks County...I saw a TON of fox down there.
Or when I was in Somerset with all the coyotes
I do have one question for you...are there any predators left in any of my spots since Ive been gone? ;D

I am not going to be able to hunt in the hunt but will try to come to the check in. Is there beer and food? LOL
-
Some news:
Savage has discontinued the "edge" rifle
and the only one available for the first prize is a 22-250
I just wanted to get that out there before the hunt started
-

What a night!!
Had a coyote hang up at 200 yds, and I still gained 100 yrds on him, bird distressing as I advanced.
This was in a shotgun and rimfire only spot, and I had the shot gun. That was the third set of the night.
Forth set, I had something scream at me at 50 yrds, after a howl.
Sixth set,I sneaked up a logging rd to a "y", called for 25-30 minutes and then went another 4-5 hundred yds for the 7th set.
Upon my return, I saw where 2 coyotes came down the left in the "y" after I left the 6th set, They came within 3 feet of my boot tracks and spooked out.
I will do one more stand at a good farm right at daylight, then get some sleep.
Hope everybody's night was better than mine
-
ernie...there is beer and food...if you come i'll sign you in...sorry i didn't see the post

went out this morning made a good long set> Lottsa sign but no go> Had a pile of crows come in though. goin back out in a little while different set> had the batteries in the foxpro die right as daylight was approaching luckily had the mouth calls with me..
-
Was a terrible night until about 4:00 in the morning when the wind died and the clouds moved in.Then things picked up a bit.Should be good tonight, good luck all.
-
I went out for a little bit. Seen a coon and I think a coyote but when I went to hit it with the shooting light it was gone. I set the alarm for 2:30 and when I got up I didn't like the windy conditions. I went back to bed and plan on going out tonight after looking at Christmas light with the family. I'll try to get some coons into my set ups till it hits Sunday.
